Summary:
The Director of Coding/Oasis is responsible for ensuring the services of quality by directing and supervising Performance Improvement activities. S/he must ensure that audits of clinical records for compliance are performed in a timely manner. S/he must ensure compliance with OASIS and coding standards. S/he will serve as a mentor to the Clinical Managers and Wound Certified Nurses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in Nursing. Master's preferred.
Three years current experience in Home Health supervision preferred.
Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Current nursing license in Commonwealth of Virginia and West Virginia required.
Oasis certified required within 6 months of hire
ICD certified required within 6 months of hire
Must not have been convicted of or have pending charges of any barrier crime.
Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required: Demonstrates a clear understanding of core business structures, systems, practices, trends and technologies within the healthcare industry. Must have entrepreneurial skills to support the creating of business plans for the service line and/or products. Must have a strong personal work ethic, self motivation, strong leadership abilities and, management proficiency. Also, must be able to work effectively in team, and achieve results collaboratively across the system.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
