Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Computer or Food Engineering.
5
yrs relevant experience with minimum of 4 yrs supervisory experience (food or CPG industry experience a plus). 5
yrs electronic troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance experience.
PLC programming and systems integration.
Knowledge of OEE.
Electrical certification (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) a plus.
OSHA Regulations,Quality Assurance, Sanitation Standards, Food Manufacturing Processes (a plus), Good Manufacturing Practices / GMP (a plus).
Lean Manufacturing and/or 5S a plus.
Job Duties:
Our client, a multinational food market leader, seeks a highly knowledgeable Controls Engineer to be
responsible for maintaining, installing and designing electric and electronic equipment and control systems
throughout the plant. Emphasis will be placed on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, plant wiring, PLC
Programming, internal computer network systems, HMI Interface systems (Mii), Data Collection, electronic
component troubleshooting and repair, installation of components, ability to read and create electrical
diagrams, ability to teach and mentor maintenance technicians, and all phases of plant and equipment
troubleshooting. This is a critical role for our client as the Controls Engineer is responsible for the
successful operation of plant production through its electronics program. High visibility position with

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
