Quality Technician Turbo Chargers - Motorcar Parts of America ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Ensures that all reporting is accurate and communicated on a timely manner.
Ensures adequate control and inventory accuracy of assigned locations.
Ensures that all inspection and testing are accurate.
Ensures the accuracy and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all necessary reports and records.
Generates and maintains records of ISAs, (Initial Sample Approval).
Provides accurate and timely feedback on Quality Issues or pending items.
Provides accurate and timely feedback on the QCH or pending items.
Provides accurate and timely feedback on Quality Department or pending items.
Ensures adequate control and inventory accuracy of related Inventory Locations.
Assist with RCA/FMA, (Root Cause Analysis / Failure Mode Analysis) for designated product line.
Specs and revisions units for PSS for designated product line.
Performs various test on designated product line under the direction of the QE/manager.
Specs units for PSS.
May be assigned other duties.

Demonstrated statistical knowledge for Measurement System Analysis and Statistical Process Control.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and organization skills required.
Experience with problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Corrective and Preventive action implementation and follow up for system and product issues.
Good judgment skills within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of related experience in automotive industry.
ISO/TS16949, Corrective and Preventive Action Implementation, Experience performing MSA (Measurement System Analysis) studies and general knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), Process Improvement.
Product knowledge of Turbo Chargers is a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Minitab or related Statistical software) WORK ENVIRONMENT:
